I woke last night and could not sleep and started singing this song through in my mind. I could not remember the singer but had liked the song when I was aged 17 or 18 and searching this morning on youtube found that somebody has put the song there. The All Day Song ( Love Him in the Morning ) by John Fischer. John has a regular blog at https://catchjohnfischer.live/.

O Thou Who Camest From Above
This hymn by Charles Wesley is often sung at Pentecost. It comes from an old testament passage in Leviticus 6:13, “The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out.” (NIV)
This hymn also refers to John Wesley’s “Aldersgate experience” in 1738, when he received an experience of his heart being warmed by the fire of the Holy Spirit. The celestial fire came from above and kindled a flame in the “altar of my heart.”

Nutfield Walk with map and stones
The walk was on Sunday 24th October 2021. If anybody else wants to follow the walk, I made a walk guide.
I also made the video below using painted stones. It is based on the beatitudes and I left the stones around the village:

We Seek Your Kingdom
We may still feel isolated as a church because of Covid, but this song brings a smile. To the tune ‘Abide with Me.’

Nutfield Walk 2020
Aware of Covid, I did the walk by myself and left some walk guides. I also left some flowers on the sites on the map should anybody follow. After doing the walk, on the way home, I got a message from one person asking what time was the walk and tried to explain and felt awful that I’d let them down. (Walk Route.)
